Nemesis Aftermath

The main highlight of Nemesis: Aftermath is the Epilogue Mode. It's a short 45 - 60 minute, 5 - turn game played after a regular Nemesis game. Some time has passed since the events of the base game. Players use new characters that didn't participate in the base game to explore the Nemesis. The ship shows signs of its past struggles, and leftovers from your previous game will impact the Epilogue game. The Epilogue game is quicker but more challenging than a regular game. Instead of objectives, players face simple personal requirements and must cooperate to handle various alerts. There's also a Lucrative Offer for those with self - serving interests. An additional Shuttle board is used, representing a new small ship docked to the Nemesis with 4 extra room slots. This expansion adds 4 new Rooms '2'. You can play the Epilogue with fewer players than in the regular game. Nemesis: Aftermath also adds a Trait card for each character, providing unique advantages and disadvantages. These cards are placed face - up next to the character board and remain in effect throughout the game. Moreover, 5 new characters are added. When choosing characters, players pick from a draft card, which allows them to select either a base - game or an Aftermath character of a chosen color. For example, the red Convict from Aftermath can replace the red Soldier from the base game. Once a character is chosen, the draft card is kept, preventing others from choosing the same - colored alternate character. The Aftermath characters are quite different from the base - game ones.

How to use: First, play a regular game of Nemesis. After that, start the Epilogue Mode of Nemesis: Aftermath. Select your characters from the new ones provided in the expansion or use the draft system to choose between base - game and Aftermath characters of the same color. Place the Trait cards face - up next to the character boards. Use the additional Shuttle board as a new small ship docked to the Nemesis. Try to meet your personal requirements and cooperate to handle alerts. You can also accept the Lucrative Offer if you want. Note that leftovers from your regular game will affect the Epilogue game. Remember, the two characters of the same color from the base game and Aftermath can't be in the same game. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and cool place to prevent damage. Make sure to store the cards properly to avoid bending or tearing. When not in use, put all the pieces back in the box to keep them organized.
