Description
Players take turns as the pilot and test their luck to claim the greatest treasures! Celestia, a revamped version of Cloud 9, lets you join a team of adventurers on an aircraft. Fly through the cities of Celestia and retrieve amazing treasures. The journey is risky, but you can become the richest adventurer by collecting the most precious treasures. At the start, players place their pawns in the aircraft and start with six or eight cards. Each round, one player is the captain, rolling 2 - 4 dice to face challenges like fog, lightning, killer birds, or pirates. The captain must play the right cards - compass, lightning arrester, foghorn, or cannons - to continue. Before that, players decide to stay or exit. Exiting guarantees victory points from the current city, while staying hopes for more treasures in the next. During the journey, adventurers can use special objects or change the trip. The game ends when a player gets at least fifty points of treasure and wins. 2 - 6 Players | 30 Mins | Ages 8+. Features: Betting, Bluffing, Dice Rolling, Hidden Victory Points, Push Your Luck. To start playing Celestia, first place your pawn inside the aircraft and get your cards (six or eight depending on the number of players). Each round, one player becomes the captain. The captain rolls the dice to see what challenges you'll face. Then, the captain has to play the right cards to keep the journey going. Before the captain plays the cards, you need to decide if you want to stay on the plane or get off. If you get off, you'll get the victory points from the current city. If you stay, you hope to reach the next city and get more treasures. But if the captain can't overcome the challenge, everyone loses and you start a new trip. During the game, you can use special objects to change things up. The game ends when a player gets at least fifty points of treasure. Make sure to keep track of your cards and the challenges. There's no special maintenance needed for the game, just keep the cards and pawns in a safe place so you can play again and again.
